My name is, you guessed it, Kimmy Noonen.
I am a visual artist working across many media, but most specifically performance, photo, video and bookwork. I graduated in the spring of 2009 with my MFA (Master’s in Fine Arts) from the University of Chicago and reside in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago with my husband, Nate and four pet rats, Lupé, Mabel, Yorba and Temperance. *I realize rats freak most people out, but give me a half hour and I’ll convince you of their cuteness and intelligence.
In addition to the practice of fine art, I have started Kimmy Noonen Photography, a freelance business dedicated to photographing events of all kinds. This venture has proved both fun and fluent for clients and photographer alike. My genuine love for people together with the skills acquired during almost a decade of art experience has helped drive the success of my business.
