“Working with Kimmy on our wedding was a wonderful experience. She was fantastic at capturing the mood of our wedding. She asked questions and listened to custom tailor our photos for our weddings theme and overall feel, making sure we got exactly what we wanted! She was also great at providing suggestions backed by professional experience- all of which were great! “Kimmy was exceptional from start to finish. The photos that she took were brilliant – beautiful and artistic. We had two pre-event meetings to discuss exactly what would happen at our ceremony so she could be in the right place at the right time and to figure out what shots and looks were right for us as a couple. She was so natural that we never noticed her (certainly not intrusive) but somehow she managed to be in the best place for every aspect of the ceremony. Afterwards she efficiently managed the various family portraits that had to be taken, making everyone feel important while organizing everyone. Then she put in another two hours with the bridal party visiting various sites in Chicago that were relevant to us as a couple and provided a photogenic background. We’d heard horror stories about friends’ photographers and this being a grueling experience. But Kimmy was such a natural leader that we had a blast and got AMAZING photographs. We cannot recommend her highly enough. … especially since other photographers we priced were quoting at least three times as much. At first I was a bit apprehensive about an outdoor shoot. But once Kimmy began to work her magic I felt completely at ease. She had done her homework in planning the shoot.
